“In late 2004, it was time for Florida Veterinary Specialists to go "fully digital" in imaging. Ultrasound needed to be upgraded. Our CT Scanner required DICOM integration. Film and processing needed to be replaced by Digital Radiography. To tie it all together, PACS software was to be implemented for archival and distribution of digital images to over thirty computers, multiple surgery suites, and to our
radiologist and hundreds of referring hospitals.
